Wilfred Craik, August Hansen, Ole Hansen, and several others set out to climb Mount Saint Helens in 1910. This was no easy task back then, without any kind of climbing gear or rescue, but it had to have been even more difficult to photograph. Wilfred captured some of the first known images of a climb on Mount St. Helens. This image is taken of the timber line.
